Evidence-based coaching psychology to help you close the gap between where you are and who you want to become — for your mind, your body, or both.
Hi, I'm Sunnee, Your In-House Coaching Psychologist
Welcome! I'm thrilled you're here. My name is Sunnee, and I have dedicated over 20 years to the fitness industry, amassing a wealth of experience and certifications in strength training, cycling, movement, and mobility. Alongside my certifications as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, I hold an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, a BA in Psychology, two nutrition and health coaching certifications, and several fitness and personal training certifications. My MSc and certification from The Physical Intelligence Institute further enhance my ability to guide clients utilizing the science of the body and neuroscience.
My coaching philosophy is built on providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for my clients. I practice unconditional positive regard, ensuring psychological safety while also challenging you to reach your goals. I believe that true change happens when we engage both the mind and body, which is why my approach includes focusing on physiological aspects such as breath, movement, and bodily awareness. This integrated method helps uncover biobehavioral blind spots and transforms automatic negative thoughts and behaviors.
What sets my practice apart is the rigorous training and education backing my methods. In a largely unregulated industry, my credentials, including ongoing certifications with the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), ensure that my coaching is grounded in science and empirical research.
WHAT IS COACHING
PSYCHOLOGY
Meet Your Best Possible Self
Coaching psychology is a structured, confidential partnership focused on you — rooted in psychology and positive psychology, and grounded in evidence-based techniques rather than opinion. Unlike therapy, which looks backward to heal and process the past, or consulting, where someone hands you the answers, coaching looks forward: toward the life where you flourish, not just function.
It's 100% client-directed — you set the agenda, and together we get clear on your strengths, your goals, and the version of yourself you're working toward. With a background in health and wellness coaching, personal training, and fitness, this approach focuses on the mind, body, and environment together, because lasting change rarely lives in just one of those places.
How Coaching Works
My approach, based on peer-reviewed research and proven theoretical frameworks, starts somewhere different: with a clear vision of your ideal self (who you want to be), before the problem-solving begins. Research grounded in Intentional Change Theory shows this sequencing — vision before "fixing" — primes the brain for openness and sustained change, rather than the stress response that problem-first coaching can trigger.
Sessions also draw on other theories and are supported by validated assessments (e.g. VIA Character Strengths, PERMA, Satisfaction with Life). Backed by an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology (University of East London) and 25+ years in movement and behavior change, the output isn't advice — it's clarity, sustainable habits, and a stronger relationship with yourself.
Is Coaching Right for Me?
"I've gained weight." "I'm not sleeping." "I just feel like something is missing in my life." If any of that sounds familiar — or you're simply curious what's possible — you're in the right place.
Positive Psychology Coaching has been rigorously researched and scientifically linked to:
Elevating well-being and happiness, including increasing optimism, hope, and meaning in life
Improving health and wellness
Enhancing our relationship with our body, body image, and body connectedness
Increasing mindfulness and presence
Improving performance across multiple dimensions
Reducing stress and burnout
Increasing motivation, mental toughness, grit, and determination
Improved relationships
Increased self-acceptance, self-awareness, and self-image
And so much more!
Research shows that we are more likely to commit to our goals when we discuss them with others. The collaborative coaching environment ensures continued support, resulting in increased motivation, determination, and perseverance. If any of the above resonates with you, if you have big aspirations, and you're ready to start on your path, then I encourage you to reach out.
Programs & Pricing
Because everybody is different, and every body is different, we offer a variety of options to unlock your potential.

Two Paths to Choose From
Path 1: Hybrid — Coaching + Personal Training
In-person strength and movement work, paired with real coaching conversation — because the gap between who you are and who you want to be doesn't only live in your head; it's often felt in the body first, as tension, avoidance, or disconnection. Each session opens with a client-led objective, and training becomes the space where insight turns into embodied, lived change.
Path 2: Solo Coaching
A dedicated space to think out loud, gain clarity, and design action — no training involved, just focused conversation. Movement practices might be integrated based on individual goals, preferences, and session outcomes.

Ongoing coaching built for consistency, because research shows lasting change happens through repeated, supported effort — not single conversations.
